Association of Residents of Queensland Retirement Villages
The Association of Residents of Queensland Retirement Villages (ARQRV) is a member-based organisation that provides advocacy and support for people living in retirement villages across Queensland. They are a strong consumer protection voice with a sound knowledge of Queensland legislation, residents’ contracts and the broader industry.
The Association of Residents of Queensland Retirement Villages assist and advise members in disputes with the village operator whenever there has been a breach of the Retirement Village Act or of their contracts, informing members of their rights and providing ongoing information about issues that are significant to the retirement village lifestyle.
ARQRV have been long term tenants with NBSO joining us in 2016.
President of ARQRV Judy Mayfield had this to say, “It’s such a pleasure to be located within the NBSO complex. Julie and the staff are wonderful, and nothing is too much trouble. It is a fantastic base from which we can serve our members.”
To find out more about the services ARQRV provide, head to their website - www.arqrv.org.au or contact Jan or Carol on email membership@arqrv.org.au or 0437 906 074.

Hello,
Can you please advise:
In order to obtain representation or advice from your organisation:
Does an individual need to become a member of your organisation … or …. is the Retirement Village responsible for membership as a whole?
Thank you
